Help setting up wireless dial up Modem?
I got the message "modem is busy". I then physically removed the ethernet card and when I restarted the computer the kppp and the modem work fine. Mine is blank, although it will give me a wizard that starts with the HSP56 dial-up modem that I used to have connected to this machine. Best dial-up modem
My telephone line is terrible. Lots of noise and hum and when it rains, the bit rate goes way down. I need the ultimate dial up modem. The best I can do is 26.4 Kbps with a Motorola modem. Units from Pine and Acer are about the same. Can anyone recommend the best modem for these condition? Farmer John.
