Windell pwind...@wandtv.com microsoft public proxy Actually you have two NICs now, the current Dialup Modem serves as an external "NIC". You could go either way, but if you want to use two NICs then it is simpler to go with a DSL Modem that does *not* have a router built in.

I've been online w/ my cable modem and used my dial-up modem to dial into a tel # to connect to my employer's Intranet. I just started Dial Up Networking, entered the info and that was it. Eveyrthing worked fine. I get "authentication" errors when I try. Sounds like your username and/or password are bad.
